The JCB S1930E Electric Scissor Lift is a compact and highly manoeuvrable access platform designed for safe, efficient working at height. With a maximum working height of 7.8m and maximum platform height of 5.8m, it provides a practical solution for maintenance, installation and access work where space is limited.

Measuring just 0.76m wide and 1.78m long when stowed, the S1930E is particularly well suited to confined areas. Fold-down platform rails reduce the stowed height to 1.86m, helping the machine manoeuvre through restricted spaces. The platform measures 1.64m x 0.76m and provides a 230kg load capacity, accommodating up to two occupants indoors or one outdoors. A 0.9m extension deck provides additional outreach when required.

Electric drive provides clean operation with zero emissions at point of use. The S1930E is powered by four 6V 225Ah batteries, with a 24V DC 3.3kW power unit and 25A charger. It offers a maximum stowed driving speed of 3.2km/h, 25% gradeability and a tight 1.49m outside turning radius for easy positioning.

JCB has designed the electric scissor range with durability and ease of operation in mind. Features include motor protection plates, wear pads to reduce metal-to-metal contact and robust pothole protection. The extension deck uses an automotive-style foot pedal and roller system for straightforward operation, while the controller can be used from different positions around the basket or off the machine when manoeuvring through confined areas.
Safety features include a pothole protection system that only allows the platform to raise once fully deployed, rear-access emergency descent and brake release controls, and a safety stop with a three-second delay as the basket approaches its fully lowered position.
