About Us

Welcome, brave souls! You’ve stumbled upon Armill Lift Trucks, a bastion of sanity in the chaotic world of forklifts and heavy machinery. Founded in 1991 by the intrepid Peter and Ann Millar, we began our odyssey as mere mechanics, tinkering away in the grease-stained corners of the industrial jungle. But as fate would have it, we evolved into a full-blown sales operation when Gary Millar jumped aboard in 1995, igniting a firestorm of ambition.

Our Journey

  • 1991: The year we launched into the fray, armed with tools and a healthy dose of skepticism, ready to service the beasts of burden that keep the world moving.
  • 1995: Enter Gary, a visionary with an appetite for sales and a knack for navigating the murky waters of the forklift market. We weren’t just fixing machines—we were selling hope and productivity.
  • 2012: David Dadd enters the scene, a whirlwind of energy and enthusiasm, quickly climbing to the rank of Sales Director. A man possessed, driving us forward into the unknown.
  • 2021: David takes the reins as Managing Director, charging into the brave new world of lithium-ion forklifts—a technological revolution waiting to unfold.

Our Clients

We’ve got a breath taking range of clients who’ve embraced our vision, including:

  • Aldi: The champions of value, keeping the masses fed and happy.
  • Ryanair: Soaring through the skies, balancing the fine line between chaos and order.
  • Woodland Global: Masters of logistics, weaving through the complexities of modern commerce.

These folks have adopted our lithium-ion technology, and we’re here to support their ventures with the ferocity of a thousand caffeine-fueled brainstorming sessions.

Our Philosophy

  • At Armill, we operate on a few simple tenets:

  • Value & Reliability: Our forklifts are priced to sell, but don’t let the numbers fool you—these machines work as dependably as a Rolls Royce on a long road trip. You need them to perform, and we deliver.
  • Friendly Service: Our team is a crew of eager talented pros ready to assist when you call. This isn’t just business; it’s a partnership. When you need us, we’ll be there, no questions asked.
  • Trust Matters: We build relationships like we maintain our machines—strong, sturdy, and resilient. Earning your trust is our mission, and we won’t take it lightly.

Longetivity

We’re committed to crafting robust, reliable products designed to withstand the test of time, much like the enduring spirit of rebellion. Choose Armill, and you’ll have equipment backed by dedicated engineers and quality parts—ready for whatever absurdities come your way.

The future is bright, and we’re here to ride the wave of innovation! Armill was among the first to bring in high-voltage EP trucks for those tough jobs, ready to unleash cutting-edge safety features and cost-saving marvels.

Our mission is straightforward: we want to help you reduce your carbon footprint while boosting efficiency and sustainability. We hold fast to our family values, ensuring our after-sales support is as rock-solid as a good whiskey.
